Accounts Assistant

Our client based in Dublin 2 is currently seeking to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the role will involve:

  • Posting purchase & sale invoices
  • Posting payments and receipts
  • Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations for a number bank accounts
  • Lodgements to the bank
  • Credit cards analysis
  • Creditor reconciliations & dealing with supplier queries
  • Processing the monthly EFT
  • Submission of the RCT, P30’s & Vat returns
  • Payroll for approx. 15 – 20 employees
  • Record and process employee expense claims
  • Prepare audit packs for auditors
  • Complete other tasks and administrative duties as requested 

Skills & Key requirements:

  • Accountants Technician qualification or equivalent
  • Ideally you will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar finance role
  • Knowledge of Subcontractors & Relevant Contracts Tax (RCT) an advantage
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Self-motivated, energetic team player, flexible, innovative and proactive with good organisational & time management skills
  • Self-starter with the ability and confidence to work on own initiative to strict deadlines

This is a full time permanent role.
