Accounts Assistant - Wexford

Our client, based in Wexford, is currently seeking to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a permanent basis.

Responsbilities will include

  • Processing Invoices and Payments
  • Reconciling Ledger to Control Account and Creditors Statement
  • Payment of Creditors
  • Corresponding with suppliers about payment queries/ Remittances
  • Bank Reconciliations - Daily, Weekly, & Monthly Reconciliations
  • Update wages journal and post on monthly basis
  • Input information for PAYE/PRSI Reconciliation
  • Micropay Weekly and Monthly
  • Processing Cash Receipts
  • Follow up Customers for payment where appropriate
  • Debtors Report – Monthly
  • Making Lodgments
  • Processing of invoices and related documentation for customer orders
  • Management of shipping customer orders and related documentation
  • Journal Posting
  • Account Analyses and reconciliations

 The ideal  candidate:

  • Ideally IATI qualified or equivalent
  • At least 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
