Our client is a medium-sized Accountancy Firm based in Limerick. They employ in excess of 50 staff. Client base comprises a wide range of indigenous, multinational and HNW clients.
They have an established tax department with a number of tax professionals each having their own portfolio. Our client wishes to appoint a Tax Manager, who will take over running of the tax division within the Practice. The main focus of the role is to develop the fee income of the division by providing additional services to existing clients and by attracting new clients. The main elements of the role will include:
Who will the role suit?
The successful candidate will manage and develop their own team. The candidate should have a number of year’s experience managing a large client allocation, both personal and corporate. This may be within a large or medium accountancy firm where they have experience of high volume taxation returns. The role could suit a Manager within a smaller firm who feels that they need to integrate into a larger structure to develop their career or a Manager in a Big4/Top 20 practice looking to take ownership of a tax function in a smaller firm.
As this is a newly created role within a progressive accountancy firm, the position offers career potential leading to partnership.
