Highly successful manufacturing organisation require a newly qualified Accountant to join their finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this is an exciting opportunity for an Accountant to gain exposure across all areas of finance with plenty of scope for progression. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial analysis and reporting on variances 
• Responsible for cash management and forecasting across multiple currencies
• Monthly accounts preparation to set deadlines
• Prepare and submit year-end accounts for review by Finance manager
• Responsible for posting journals and completing bank reconciliations
• Ensuring compliance and best practice in line with company policy
• Point of contact for auditors and responsible for managing the audit process
• Support and mentor junior finance staff as required

Experience:

• Qualified accountant with minimum 1 year post-qualified experience
• Proficient IT skills with advanced level MS Excel
• Ability to analyse financial information and work to set deadlines
• Must be ambitious with a desire to progress
• Fluency in English required along with excellent communication skills
