Client Profile - Medium Firm, Wexford

Our client is a high-profile accountancy practice based in Wexford. An established practice with a reputation for quality and delivery of client expectations, their client base includes some indigenous groups, manufacturing companies, professionals, and high-net-worth clients. Reporting at the Partner level, the role will be focused on managing the relationships between the firm and a portfolio of key clients. As such the role will be focused on providing clients with high-level support across all business areas.

The Role – Practice Accountant

The Partners are keen to recruit a newly qualified accountant (or part Qualified) to strengthen their team. Responsibilities will include:

• Managing own portfolio of medium corporate clients
• Managing and planning audit assignments
• Draft tax computations
• Manage client work in progress
• Advising high-net-worth clients regarding business and investment matters
• Motivating and developing staff
• Reviewing the work of Seniors

The role is challenging and will allow the candidate to become involved in providing solid business solutions for individual clients. The existing Partners are keen to recruit a candidate who can be promoted to their management team. 

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate should have qualified with a quality accounting firm and have a focus on developing a long-term career in practice. They should have excellent  accounts preparation skills and have the capability to provide technical support for training for junior staff.

This role is challenging and will allow the candidate to become involved in providing solid and interesting business solutions. The existing Partners are keen to recruit a candidate who will be part of their Senior Management team and who can contribute to the development of their firm. There is a strong upward career development potential.
