Our client is a practice based in Mayo. They have a reputation for providing excellent tax consultancy solutions to a client base comprised of small to medium sized businesses and high net worth clients. The training within this firm is second to none, and the successful candidate will quickly be given responsibility for working on challenging assignments. The culture within the firm is supportive, and the training plan is designed to quickly broaden and develop the candidate’s experience. This is achieved by working closely with colleagues and having a high level of interaction with the tax Partner.

Role: Accountant to specialise in Tax

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who is passionate about tax and wishes to develop their career in this area. Candidate will benefit from working high profile tax professional and will gain exposure to a varied range of assignments across a broad range of clients. This will include:

• Assisting Partner on tax projects, across all tax headings
• Researching tax issues to support advice to clients on various issues
• Extensive interaction with clients, other advisors and revenue
• Non-routine tax assignments including tax aspects of restructuring, patents, revenue audits, inheritance advice, cash extractions and non-routine VAT issues

Candidate Profile:

• Candidates should be Qualified Accountant/Finalist or Tax Qualified
• Excellent academic record
• Good client skills
• Self-starter
