Our client is a high-profile accountancy firm based in Co Westmeath. As a medium sized firm they support clients in the SME, professional, and high-net-worth sectors. They provide each client with support on accounts preparation, taxation, and general business advice. This role represents an excellent opportunity for an Accounting Technician to continue training within an accountancy firm. Candidates will benefit from working with some of the best professionals in the midlands and will gain exposure to a varied range of assignments across a broad portfolio of clients. The training within this firm is second to none, and the successful candidate will quickly be given responsibility for working on challenging assignments. The culture within the firm is supportive, and the training plan is designed to provide each employee with a broad range of accountancy and tax experience. This is achieved by working closely with colleagues and having a high level of interaction with Partners. 

Position: Accounting Technician 

Due to expansion within their business, they wish to add an Accounting Technician to their team. Reporting to the Partners, the role will involve in providing the firm’s clients support on a range of activities including: 

• Handling year-end accounts preparation assignments to review stage
• Personal and corporate tax returns
• Management accounts
• Assisting partners on consultancy and project assignments 

Candidate Profile:

Ideal candidate should have qualified as an Accounting Technician and have a number of years' accountancy experience. The role will suit a Qualified Accounting Technician who wishes to continue studying for a professional accountancy qualification.
