Excellent opportunity for a Bookkeeper to join a growing business located in Navan in County Meath. They are seeking to recruit an experienced Accounting Technician/Bookkeeper to work alongside the Office Manager in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Role offers exposure across all areas of the finance function.

Role Responsibilities:

• Working with the Manager, responsible for the processing and management of debtor and creditor ledgers
• Prepare accounts to Trial Balance stage for review by the external accountancy firm
• Posting and reconciliation of bank transactions
• Completing VAT Returns
• Running weekly and monthly payrolls and submissions to Revenue
• Complete other office tasks and administrative duties as requested

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years experience in an Accounts Technician or Bookkeeper position 
• Accounting Technician qualified is desirable
• Excellent IT skills including Sage Line 50, Sage Payroll and Excel
• Strong accounts payable / purchases ledger posting experience in a high volume environment
• Excellent communication skills – fully fluent written and spoken English essential
• Ability to prioritise and to work to deadlines
• Organised and efficient with excellent attention to detail
• Strong commutation skills and great energy to meet deadlines
