Accounting Technician – SME
The Company
Our client provide professional services and are rapidly expanding, they have a vacancy for an Assistant Accountant to join the team and take responsibility for a number of entities. Role would suit an accounting technician looking to pursue the Professional Accountancy exams.
The Position
Reporting to the Financial Controller and joining a close knit team, some of the duties include:
- Accounts Payable
- Fixed Asset register maintenance
- Bank account management
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Drive process improvement and efficiency
- Monitoring costs and variance analysis
- Monthly reconciliations across the Group
- Assist with audit process
- Tax and statutory reporting
- Managing financial system
The Person:
- IATI Qualified
- Ability to work in hands on function
- Excellent analytical skills, with strong IT skills essential
- Deadline orientated, with the ability to work to multiple tight deadlines
- Strong communicator
- Excellent attention to detail
