Retail Company, Cork

Our client is an Irish based retail business, based in Cork. They have a vacancy for an Accounting Technician or a Part Qualified Accountant to manage their finance function.

Accounting Technician or Part Qualified Accountant

Reporting to the Managing Director the role will involve the following: 

• Managing the day-to-day finance function
• Manage and reconcile bank accounts
• Lodgements
• Prepare debtor invoices and reconcile debtor accounts
• Accounts Payable: processing invoices, preparing payments run, reconciling supplier accounts
• Liaise with external accountants

Candidate Profile

Ideal candidate will have a number of years’ experience within a quality well run business.  Role will suit a pro-active candidate who is comfortable working with the owners. Role will suit an Accounting Technician or Part Qualified, who has pro-active “can do” attitude. Working experience within a fast paced retail, distribution, service company  would be a distinct advantage.
