Our client, a governing body based in South Dublin, is currently looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join them on a 12 month contract.
As part of a team and reporting to the Financial Controller, the role will include but is not limited to the following responsibilities.
Specific:
- Assist with the production of monthly management accounts and audit files to strict deadlines for the Organisation’s entities
- Assist with compliance matters (e.g., CRO/CRA/RBO registers)
- Managing the accounts payable and purchase order function
- Managing the cash receipts function
- Maintain various Company registers including capex, floats and contracts register
- Assist with various grant applications
General:
- To undertake any such other reasonable tasks that may be assigned from time to time
Summary of Employment Terms and Conditions:
- This role is a full-time position with an initial duration contract of one (1) year - there may be an option to extend the contract subject to performance, funding, and agreement by both parties
- The salary paid on a monthly basis will be appropriate to the role and will consider the non-profit nature of Scouting
- Contractual hours of work are thirty-five (35) hours per week, Monday to Friday - however, additional time may be required for the effective performance of the role for which there will be no additional remuneration
- The successful candidate must be willing to work during the evenings and on weekends, when necessary, for which reasonable time off in lieu may be given
- The role will be a mix of hybrid working
