Accounts Assistant, Distribution, Dublin Hybrid

Our client is a reputable and long established business are seeking to appoint an Accounts Assistant to support the Finance Manager. This is a varied role across all areas of finance, with an office based in South Dublin the role will be on a hybrid basis.  

Working closely with the Finance Manager, you will assist in the financial management, financial administration, and financial operation of the organisation.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Accounts Payable
  • Accounts Receivable 
  • Preparing payment runs 
  • Preparation of bank reconciliations for a number of bank accounts
  • Creditor reconciliations
  • Dealing with supplier queries
  • Assisting in the preparation of management accounts and corporate administration
  • Complete other tasks and administrative duties as requested

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 2 years' experience in a busy finance function
  • Excellent communication skills – fully fluent written and spoken English essential
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to prioritise and to work to deadlines
  • Organised and efficient with excellent attention to detail
