Our client are a leading brand based in the City Centre. They are seeking to expand their Finance team with the addition of an ambitious Accounts Assistant in a varied role. It is a fast paced and busy team offering the chance to progress for the right candidate.   

Responsibilities will include:

• Assist with monthly accounts production 
• Sales analysis and flash reporting 
• KPI reporting 
• Deep dive into various areas of the business 
• Assisting in process improvement
• Working with journals, sales, and purchases ledgers
• Monthly close activities 
• Other ad-hoc duties as required

The ideal candidate:

• Similar experience in a busy finance role
• Accounting Technician qualification / finance related degree an advantage
• Strong bank reconciliations experience
• Excellent Excel skills 
• Strong communications skills – both written and verbal
• High level of numerical accuracy with excellent attention to detail
• Team player
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic with the ability to take ownership of your role
• Excellent organisation and time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines
