Client Profile

Our client are a well-established business in the events industry who are currently undergoing a restructure in finance team and have a newly created requirement for a Finance Manager who will take ownership of the function in a hands on role.  

The Role

The role will take full responsibility of the Finance function reporting to the Directors and driving the finance agenda, ensuring financial controls are in place and monitor financial performance. It is a hands on role in a small team.  Key areas of responsibility will include: 

• Lead and develop finance team
• Cashflow, budgeting and forecasting
• Develop and deliver KPI’s
• Overseeing and supporting finance operations including AP, AR, banking
• Tax returns 
• Review and develop policies and procedures
• Manage financial systems 

 The Person:

To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience: 

• Experience of working in a similar role
• Ability to work in small company environment 
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Strong IT skills
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong communicator
• Self-motivating and able to work on own initiative
