Our client is an award winning Irish business who are currently seeking to recruit a proactive and analytical Accountant to work closely with the Finance Director to enhance decision making processes within the business.  

Position Profile: Assistant Management Accountant

This role is a general role within a dynamic finance function at a very exciting time in the organisations history.  This role reports to the Financial Director and has a lot of cross functional working.  Some of the duties involve

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Developing pricing models 
• Management of overheads and cost control
• Financial analysis
• Preparation and filing of statutory accounts
• Ongoing development and review of internal controls and processes
• Ad-hoc projects

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have the following skills or experiences:

• Relevant analytical experience within a finance team
• Hands on approach
• Ability to work in small organisation
• Highly analytical
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Strong IT skills
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong communicator
• Self-motivating and able to work on own initiative
