Assistant Accountant, Hospitality, Dublin City / Hybrid

The Company

Our client is a hospitality group based in the City Centre. They are seeking to recruit an assistant accountant into their close knit finance team in a broad role with the opportunity to progress.

The Position:

This is a varied role reporting into the Head of Finance.  It is a fast paced business with plans to continue to grow and offers a real chance to progress.  

The main duties of the role will include:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts 
• Monthly analysis 
• Assist with audits 
• Involvement with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable 
• Bank reconciliations 
• Provide holiday cover for other functions such as payroll 
• Continuous review and improvement of processes
• Ad-hoc as required

The Person:

• At least 1-2 years’ experience in a finance function 
• Experience in preparation of accounts to trial balance 
• Ideally has commenced the Accountancy exams or has a desire to go down this route
• Ability to work in busy environment
• Strong IT skills
• Excellent communicator
