Our client a Public Sector body based in Galway are currently looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant to join their team on a contract basis.
As part of a larger team this role will work closely with a qualified accountant and briefly involve:
- Daily processing of payroll data
- Payroll reconciliations
- Assisting with new systems implementation
- Running Reports for various cost units
- Assisting the Accountant with ad hoc duties
- Gathering information for monthly Financial Statements
Suitable candidates will have 2 years + experience within a larger organisation ideally using SAP.
