Audit & Compliance Manager, Semi State, Dublin / Hybrid
The Company:
Our client is a high-profile Semi State with very successful operations throughout Ireland. They are seeking to strengthen the Finance team with the addition of a Qualified Accountant to manage their internal and external audits along with all statutory reporting obligations.
The Position:
The role is hands on and varied, supporting the Finance Manager in all areas of financial reporting and control. Some of the duties include:
- Manage external audit
- Manage internal audit
- Implement changes based on audit findings
- Annual Reporting and Statutory Compliance
- Input into tax calulcations for filing
- Support financial planning activities such as budgeting and forecasting
- Support on balance sheet review
- Ensure up to date on all aspects of technical accounting
- Monitoring financial performance
- Invovlement in finance optimisation projects as required
The Person:
- Qualified Accountant with relevant experience in a similar role
- Experience of working in large company with high volume
- Excellent analytical skills with strong IT skills essential, SAP highly desirable
- Deadline orientated, with the ability to work to multiple tight deadlines
- Strong communicator
- Excellent attention to detail
