Client Profile - Medium Firm, Waterford

Our client is a high-profile accountancy practice based in Waterford. An established practice with a reputation for quality and delivery of client expectations, their client base includes some indigenous groups, manufacturing companies, professionals, and high-net-worth clients. Reporting at the Partner level, the role will be focused on managing the relationships between the firm and a portfolio of key clients. As such the role will be focused on providing clients with high-level support across all business areas.

The Role – Audit Manager

The Partners are keen to recruit a commercially focused Audit Manager to strengthen their Management team. Responsibilities will include:

• Managing and planning audit assignments
• Providing business and consultancy advice to clients regarding company development
• Manage billing, collections, and profitability per assignment
• Manage client work in progress
• Advising high-net-worth clients regarding business and investment matters
• Identify and market additional service offerings to existing clients
• Business development
• Motivating and developing staff
• Take full responsibility for managing and reviewing the work of Seniors

Business Development

• Identify and market additional service offerings to existing clients
• Prepare and present business tenders to develop your client portfolio
• Target new clients by external networking

The role is challenging and will allow the candidate to become involved in providing solid business solutions for individual clients. The existing Partners are keen to recruit a candidate who will be part of their Senior Management team and who can contribute to the development of their firm.

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate should have qualified with a quality accounting firm and have a focus on developing a long-term career in practice. They should have excellent audit skills and have the capability to provide technical support for training for junior staff.

This role is challenging and will allow the candidate to become involved in providing solid and interesting business solutions. The existing Partners are keen to recruit a candidate who will be part of their Senior Management team and who can contribute to the development of their firm.
