Client Profile: Audit Senior, Medium sized Accountancy Firm, Dublin North

Our client is a high profile accountancy practice who are  long-established with a reputation for quality and delivery of client expectations. Their client base comprises high-quality indigenous businesses. The firm specialises in providing professional services in audit, accounting, taxation, consulting and corporate finance. 

Role: Audit Senior

Our client is currently experiencing increased business activity levels. As a result, they wish to appoint a Qualified Audit Senior to work on Industry audit clients across a variety of sectors, including Tourism, Hospitality, Retail and Construction. Reporting to the Directors and Managers, this role involves substantial interaction with the Senior Management team and will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to manage their own portfolio. Responsibilities will include:

• Managing and overseeing audit assignments from inception to completion
• Manage billing, collections and profitability per assignment
• Responsible for the supervision and training of junior staff
• Working with existing clients to develop new business opportunities
• Lots of client interaction

This role is challenging and provides the successful candidate with an opportunity for ‘upward’ career progression.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be a qualified accountant or an experienced auditor who has trained in a quality accountancy firm with good training and technical standards. They should have good technical, interpersonal and client relationship skills and the ability to work on their own initiative.
