Our client is a Top10 firm providing professional services across audit, accounting, taxation, business consulting and corporate finance. The firm’s Financial Services Division is experiencing significant growth. They have a reputation for quality and delivery of client expectations. Role: Audit Senior - Banking

Their Audit & Assurance Financial Services Division is undergoing a period of rapid expansion. They are seeking to recruit an Audit Senior to strengthen their FS division. Reporting to the senior management team the role will be focused on taking ownership of a portfolio of assignments and managing the relationship between the firm and key clients. Duties of the role will include:

Audit & Advisory

• Taking ownership of a portfolio of Financial Services clients
• Managing audit assignments from planning stage to partner review
• Staff : Assist with development, learning and coaching, of junior staff.
• Involvement in firm / department development and marketing and recruitment initiatives
• Compliance with the firms Global audit methodology
• Advising on financial reporting and other technical matters
• Participation in the delivery of internal training courses

The role offers excellent scope for “upward career progression” to senior management level. The existing partners are keen to recruit a candidate who can overtime become part of the leadership team and can contribute to the growth of the business.

Candidate Profile

• Candidate should have a number of years Banking or Financial Services Audit experience, preferably within a Big4 or Top20 firm.
• They should have strong communication skills combined with excellent technical skills
• Technical proficiency in IFRS
