Client Profile

Our client are a well-established business working within the Financial Services space, due to continued growth they have a new requirement for a bookkeeper to join the team.

The Role - Bookkeeper

Reporting to the CFO this role is a general role within a busy Finance function, some of the duties involve:

  • Accounts Payable 
  • Accounts Receivable 
  • Reconciliations 
  • Preparation of key metrics 
  • Statutory Returns - VAT, etc. 
  • Manage bank accounts 
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts 
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Management of overheads and cost control
  • Assist with preparation and filing of statutory accounts and other statutory returns
  • Ad-hoc projects and general office support

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have the following skills or experience:

  • Relevant experience in a broad role in a Finance team
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Strong IT skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong communicator
  • Self-motivating and able to work on own initiative
