Commercial Finance Manager, Distribution, Dublin (hybrid) 

Our client has a new requirement for a commercially minded Accountant to focus on enhancing the performance of the business and taking ownership of the commercial accounting. Reporting to the CFO, this role will assume full responsibility for a key segment of the business and with the support of a small team will ensure accurate delivery of financial results and in depth analysis to drive performance forward.  

The Position

This is a high profile role in a progressive organisation working with the Senior Management and Operations teams. It is varied and will include all aspects of finance. Key areas of responsibility will include:

• Ownership of all FP&A activity 
• In depth financial analysis to include weekly KPIs 
• Develop and update financial models 
• Support commercial business teams in preparing and evaluating proposals
• Review and improvement of financial systems, controls and processes 
• Margin analysis
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Managing investor and lender relationships

The Person

To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:

• Qualified Accountant with relevant commercial experience
• Working in PE backed environment very beneficial
• Strong technical skills
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong communicator
• Self-motivating and able to work on own initiative
