Commercial Finance Manager, Manufacturing, Dublin West 

Our client has a new requirement for a commercially minded Accountant to focus on enhancing the performance of the business and taking ownership of the commercial accounting. Reporting to the Finance Director, this role will assume full responsibility for a key segment of the business and with the support of a small team will ensure accurate delivery of financial results and in depth analysis to drive performance forward.  

The Position

This is a high profile role in a progressive organisation working with the Senior Management and Operations teams. It is varied and will include all aspects of finance. Key areas of responsibility will include:

• Leadership and development of small team
• Ownership of all FP&A activity 
• In depth financial analysis to include weekly KPIs 
• Develop and update financial models 
• Support commercial business teams in preparing and evaluating proposals
• Review and improvement of financial systems, controls and processes 
• Margin analysis
• Budgeting and forecasting

The Person

To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:

• Qualified Accountant with relevant commercial experience
• Manufacturing experience very beneficial
• Strong technical skills
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong communicator
• Self-motivating and able to work on own initiative
