Client Profile

Our client is a growing business prviding specailist information to Financial Services companies, they have experienced recent growth and plan to grow further and seeking to grow their finance team.   This role will report to the CFO of the business supporting across all areas of finance.  

Position Profile: Company Accountant 

This role will be responsible for the production of monthly financial information and managing the ongoing day to day finances and providing a strategic input into solid finance backed decision making. This role will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team.  It is an exciting time to join and will have an opportunity to progress to Finance Manager level. 

Some of the duties will include:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts with commentary and analysis
• Pofitability analysis
• Oversight of accounts payable and receivable
• Management of bank accounts 
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Year end activities
• Review and improve financial policies and procedures
• Tax and statutory compliance
• Sales and KPI analysis
• Margin and profitability reporting
• Ad hoc duties 

Role has the ability to provide hybrid working if desired. 

 Candidate Profile:

• Similar experience in an SME
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Retail experience desirable  
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
