Client Profile – Top20 Accountancy Firm, Dublin

Our client is a quality accountancy practice with a significant client base across Ireland. Their corporate finance team handles a range of diverse assignments for indigenous mid-sized businesses and corporate entities and would rank high within the Top10 corporate finance consultancies. Given the excellent ongoing range of deals the firm handles, the successful candidate will be involved transactions from inception to completion.   

The Role – Corporate Finance Consultant 

They wish to hire an experienced Corporate Finance Professional to join their team. Working closely partners and directors in the firm, this role offers an opportunity to  manage a range of interesting and challenging assignments including:

• Mergers, Acquisitions and Disposals
• Management Buyouts (MBO’s)
• Industry Analysis/Feasibility Analysis
• Preparing busines valuation reports
• Assisting clients with M&A growth strategy
• Preparing business plans and financial projections
• Fundraising - understanding banking facility agreements and overview of the various lenders and funding options available in the Irish market
• General Consultancy Advice on Debt and Equity financing
• Assisting with sale or purchase mandates including preparation of information memoranda, management of virtual data rooms etc
• Preparing decision making papers for presentation to key internal and external stakeholders
• Assisting in the structuring of deals. 

Candidate Profile

The role is challenging and will allow the candidate to become involved in providing solid corporate finance solutions. Ideal candidate should ideally have some corporate finance consultancy experience combined with excellent client relationship skills. They could be currently within a larger firm and seeking more career autonomy within a boutique style department. Additionally, our client will consider a candidate from smaller firms seeking to specialize in corporate finance.
