Cost Accountant Manufacturing, Dublin North West / Hybrid 

Our client is a recognised brand with over 300 products on the market, and who are continuing to develop the brand with the creation of new offerings. Due to an internal restructure within the Finance function, they are seeking an experienced Cost Accountant to take ownership of the full product costing and maintenance of cost models working alongside the business to become as lean as possible.

Key Tasks:

• Evaluation of existing products for changing circumstances
• New product costing 
• Managing existing costs 
• Reconciliations of product cost
• Create and maintain profibility models 
• Maintenance of the Master Data Costings file and creator of new Cost of Goods as required by the business
• Manage tendering process 
• Work with commercial teams as required 
• Process improvement 

Candidate Requirements:

• Part-Qualified or Qualified Accountant with experience in a costing role
• Costing or Commercial experience is essential to this role
• Excellent communication skills are required
• Ability to influence and negotiate with sales managers and clients
• Fluency in English is a pre-requisite for this position
• Strong IT skills required
