Finance Analyst, Manufacturing, Dublin North West

Our client is a recognised brand with over 300 products on the market, and who are continuing to develop the brand with the creation of new offerings. Due to an internal restructure within the Finance function and with the constant pricing changes from suppliers, they are seeking to expand the Finance team with a Finance Analyst / Part Qualified Accountant who will support the Financial Controller in all areas of product costings.  

Role would suit someone with strong excel skills with an interest in product costing and financial analysis, and move away from the transactional areas of finance.  

Key Tasks:

• Evaluation of existing products for changing circumstances
• New product costing 
• Managing existing costs 
• Reconciliations of product cost
• Create and maintain profibility models 
• Maintenance of the Master Data Costings file and creator of new Cost of Goods as required by the business
• Manage tendering process 
• Margin analysis 
• Work with commercial teams as required 
• Process improvement 

Candidate Requirements:

• Strong excel skills and experience of financial analysis
• Excellent communication skills are required
• Ability to influence and negotiate with sales managers and clients
• Fluency in English is a pre-requisite for this position
• Strong IT skills required
