The Company

Our client, a well established and expanding Irish owned company, are currently recruiting for an experienced Finance Assistant to join the team at their Dublin based head office on a full-time permanent basis.

The Position

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the following core areas within the finance function:

• Full ownership of the debtors ledger

• Maintenance of the creditors ledger, including payment processing, preparation of control accounts and monthly reporting
• Bank reconciliations on a monthly basis
• Complete Intrastat reports
• Preparation of monthly VAT report
• Maintain Petty Cash and balance monthly
• RCT
• Identify areas for process improvement and offer suggestions for same
• Additional projects as they arise 

As Finance Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the Finance Manager and drive the finance function forward.

The Person

• At least 2 years relevant experience required for this role
• IATI or similar qualification an advantage
• Ambitious with a desire to help drive improvements
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong technical accounting skills
• IT skills including Excel
