The Company:

Our client provides a range of services throughout Ireland. They are seeking a commercially minded Accountant to work in a high profile role within the business.  

The Position:

This is a highly commercial role focusing on providing information and financial support in order to obtain and manage spend on key services. There will be a high level of interacting with internal and external stakeholders to review and determine budgets across a number of business units and areas.  

This is an ideal role for someone who wishes to have a meaningful impact and move into the not for profit space. Role offers real flexibility with working arrangements.  

Responsibilities include: 

• Preparation of monthly budgets and forecasts
• Tracking performance against budget and forecasts
• Develop and maintain KPIs
• Financial modelling
• Preparation of financial information for business cases 
• Project-related analysis
• Ad hoc reporting as required

 The Person:

• Qualified Accountant 
• Relevant commercial experience, NFP experience desirable
• Commercial orientation
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills/ability to prioritize work
• Good interpersonal skills
• Process orientated
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Can-do attitude
