Our client is a long established indigenous Irish consultancy business, who advise and support global corporate organisations. From their headquarters in Meath and their offices in the Middle East and Europe, they manage a range of complex advisory and research assignments. The business is expanding and progressive and growing organically and by acquisition. Within the business there is a constant drive for best practice which has led to them being viewed as a leading player within their industry sector. They have a vacancy for a Finance Manager to oversee their Finance function. Reporting to the Managing Director, the Finance Manager will support the management team in achieving their strategic and business objectives. 

Finance Manager 

The role will involve the following:  

• Managing the day-to-day finance function
• Development of the administration function
• Manage Cashflow, Banking and treasury
• Preparation of monthly management information including KPI reports for the Board
• Completion of annual budgets and forecasts
• Provide support to the Directors to enable strategic decision making.
• Ensure organisation is compliant with Taxation and Statutory obligations
• Year-end Audit
• Ongoing development and review internal controls and processes
• Implementation and continuous improvement of current information and administration systems 

Candidate Profile 

Ideal candidate will have a number of years’ experience within a quality well run business. Role will suit a pro-active candidate who is comfortable interacting at senior levels within a business. Candidate should be a qualified accountant, with excellent IT and inter-personal skills and a pro-active “can do” attitude. Working experience within a fast paced, consulting, service, or professional services business would be a distinct advantage. The role may also suit a practice trained accountant, at a manager level seeking a move to industry.
