The Company

Our client are an independently operating subsidiary of a large global brand, they are currently undergoing a transformation across their business. They are seeking to appoint a Finance Manager in a hands on role to work within their Irish entity.  This role will report into a Group FD and the MD of the Irish operation to spearhead the finance function.  

The Position:

The role will take responsibility for the day to day operations of the Finance team and and prepare information packs.    

Duties will include:

• Monthly accounts preparation and ownership of month end close
• Lead and develop small Finance team
• Form part of leadership team contributing to overall running of the business 
• Financial and commercial analysis analysis 
• Tender preparation and presentation
• Audit preparation and management 
• Budgeting and forecasting 
• Cashflow 
• Review and improve finance policies, procedures and controls
• System upgrade
• Project work 

Hybrid- with an office based in Wicklow this role offers a hybrid working model of 50/50

 The Person:

• Qualified Accountant with similar experience
• Team management experience 
• Commercial orientation
• Strong work ethic
