Our client are an award winning business in the Media sector with exciting plans for growth in 2022. They are seeking to appoint an experienced Accountant to lead the team and manage the function.   A subsidiary of a leader in their sector this role will lead the day to day of the Irish entity with a dotted line to the Parent Company reporting back all financial information.  

Position: Finance Manager

The role will have a high profile role supporting the Senior Management Team and working with senior stakeholders in the business. Duties will include 

• Lead and develop finance team
• Monthly management accounts production, review and consolidation 
• Review and improve internal controls
• Year-end annual accounts & liaison with auditors
• Managing Annual Budgeting process
• Preparation of detailed monthly pack for presentation to Board and external stakeholders
• Ad hoc reporting as required to Board
• Reviewing actual company results Vs Budget & forecasts

• Provide Weekly and monthly KPIs and commentary for management group
• Projects for streamlining and improving processes 
• Ad hoc projects as required 
  
  

 Candidate Profile

• Qualified Accountant with similar experience 
• Experience of leading and developing finance team
• Excellent technical knowledge of financial reporting standards 
• Multinational experience desireable 
• Experienced in the use of finance ERP systems, SAP preferred
