Finance Manager, Semi State, Dublin

Our client a commercial semi state body based in Dublin are currently  looking to recruit to recruit an Operational Finance Manager on a 12 month contract.

Reporting  to the Head of Business Operations Controls role will involve:

• Finance representative on: -

      -  Site materials (approx. €30m budget)

      -  Cost allocation process between products

      - Specific utility accounts

• Finance representative on materials management steering group and stock obsolescence review
• Preparation and analysis of nationwide site performance, variance, and trend analysis to support business planning and decision making.
• Continuous nationwide focus on site costs, through collaborative meetings with the Engineering Management teams.
• Collaboration with Internal and External stakeholders on day to day activity as they arise.

•  Internal - Operations, Engineering, Procurement, Facilities, Energy, Business Systems etc.
•  External -State holders , Consultants, Vendors, Auditors etc.
• Continuous improvement of processes and procedures
• Other tasks as required

Key Performance Indicators

• Periodic reports, Budgets, Forecasts and Business Plans completed to deadline.
•  Ensure all Financial Analysis completed is timely, accurate and consistent
• Provide comprehensive financial support to respond to the changing needs of the business
•  Issues highlighted to Business Operations Controller in a timely manner.
•  Documented policies & procedures for relevant responsibility

Requirements

• Third level degree and qualified accountant with broad post qualification experience
• Strong general IT skills and strives to continuously expand these skills
•  Commercial & business awareness
•  Analytical skills and critical mind-set to solve problems
•  Strategic Awareness
•  Interpersonal Impact
•  Working knowledge of SAP BI and SAP ERP
•  Advanced Excel including pivot tables, formula editing, conditional formatting, etc.
