Client Profile – SME, Dublin North (Hybrid) 

Our client is an expanding indigenous business with a reputation for high quality in its field. They are a leader in providing professional services to a global client basis with their Head Office based in Ireland. They are seeking to recruit a Finance Manager to spearhead the finance function and work alongside the Management Team. The role is a mix of finance and operational duties with a real chance to progress in line with the projected growth in the business. 

Role: Finance Manager

This position reports to the MD and is hands on and all-encompassing covering all aspects of finance from both the day to day operational side to the commercial strategic involvement. Specific responsibilities include:

• Lead and develop finance and administration team
• Monthly management accounts preparation
• Developing and managing key KPIs
• Oversight of AP and AR activity 
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Statutory accounts preparation and compliance
• Multi jurisdiction tax compliance
• Introduce process efficiencies 
• Manage external audit

Candidate Profile:

• Qualified Accountant with similar experience
• Experience of working in a hands on role in an SME
• Results orientated
• Proven track record in introducing process improvements
• Excellent technical abilities
• Strong financial acumen and the ability to perform a hands-on role
• Excellent communication, customer care and people management skills
• Excellent planning, organisational and leadership skills
• Strong IT and Excel experience
