The Company

Our client is a growing Irish owned distribution business who are going through an expansion. Due to an internal restructure they are seeking to appoint a Finance Manager who will report to the General Manager and lead the finance team during this growth phase.  It will be an all encompassing and hands on role.   

The Position

This role will take responsibility for creating a scalable Finance function and leading the day to-day operations of the Finance team. The role will be hands on and support across all areas. Duties will include:

• Lead and develop Finance team
• Monthly management accounts preparation with analysis
• Financial and commercial analysis
• Tax and statutory returns
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Managing the audit process
• Financial controls 
• Fixed asset register maintenance  
• Preparation of business cases and financial modelling 
• Attend and present at monthly board meetings 
• Digital transformation project 
• Review and improve finance policies, procedures, and controls
• Project and ad-hoc work
