Client Profile 

Our client is a market leader in providing asset management and investment services. Due to an internal restructure, they have a newly created position within their close knit Finance team. Reporting into the Financial Controller, this position is reponsible for the supervision and development of a more junior team member. It offers an ambitious, progressive Qualified Accountant the opportunity to take on a busy and varied position within a leading company with ample opportunity to grow and develop within the Group.  

Role: Financial Accountant 

The Financial Accountant will be responsible for providing a wide range of financial information. Specific areas of responsibility include:

• Month-end reporting
• Preparation and review of monthly management accounts 
• Management of cap ex spend and monthly reporting
• Analysis and provision of key information to management
• Monthly, Quarterly and Annual reporting
• Balance sheet review
• Day-to-day involvement with the running of the Finance team
• Year-end audit and preparation of financial statements
• Regulatory returns
• Tax compliance and returns 
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Delivering improvements on both existing and new processes and systems

This is a high-profile role within the organisation with a lot of cross functional relationships. It will give the successful candidate a chance to progress throughout a leading organisation.
