Financial Accountant, Banking, Dublin City Centre
The Company
Our client is a leading banking institution with a focus on the corporate sector. Due to an internal restructure they are seeking to appoint a Financial Accountant to work in a small finance team.
The Position
This is an interesting and varied role with a wide remit of responsibility. The role will report into more senior members of the team. The main duties of the role will include:
- Month-end reporting
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Statutory reporting
- Main point of contact for annual audit
- Bank account management
- Complex reconciliations
- Accounts payable
- Accounts receivable
- Tax and statutory compliance compliance
- Assist with annual audits
- Assist with finance projects
- Ad-hoc as required
The Person
- Relevant experience working in a dynamic role, Financial Services experience beneficial
- Qualified accountant
- Ability to work in busy environment
- Strong IT skills
- Excellent communicator
