Financial Accountant, Charity, Dublin City - Hybrid 

Our client is an environmental charity seeking to strenghten their finance team with the addition of a Qualified Accountant to support the Finance Director across all areas of finance.

With an office based in Dublin City Centre they are offering real flexibility with both hours and time spent in the office.   

The Position 

The role will be responsible for a range of duties including:

• Budgeting and forecasting 
• Financial Analysis 
• Month end 
• Manage donor reporting 
• Support and develop Finance team 
• Review and update finance policies and procedures

• Prepare meaningful reports and carry out ad hoc analysis as required
• Ongoing assessment of operational risks within the organisation

 The Person:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA etc.) with relevant experience 
• SORP exposure highly desireable 
• Strong presentation and report writing skills
• Staff management experience
• Excellent interpersonal skills

This role will appeal to someone who would like to build their career in this sector. Ideally you will have some previous experience of the sector but this is not essential. A genuine interest and desire to work in this area coupled with strong technical skills is more important.
