Position: Financial Accountant

Our client is a 100% privately owned Irish business in the construction related sector. It currently trades from a number of locations in Ireland.

Our client are looking to recruit a financial accountant to join their team, reporting directly to the finance director. Working as part of the finance team, the role involves taking a direct role in the preparation of financial reporting information. Candidates will also be given the opportunity to work on ad-hoc projects and acquisition opportunities as they arise.

Candidates should be qualified accountants with experience of working in dynamic environments and should be comfortable working to strict deadlines. An ability to think on your feet and strong communication skills are essential to succeed in this role.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Monthly management accounts preparation at branch and consolidated level.
• KPI Reporting.
• Payroll
• Store and product profitability analysis.
• Cost management initiatives.
• Budgeting and forecasting.
