Client Profile
Our client is a well established business with a new requirement to recruit a recently qualified accountant due to an internal promotion wihtin the team. This role will support the Financial Controller across all areas of finance.
The Role: Financial Accountant
This role is a general role within a busy Finance function of an established organisation. Reporting directly to the FC, some of the duties involve:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts with analysis of results and commentary
- Manage fixed asset register
- Bank reconciliations
- Statutory Returns (VAT, RCT etc.))
- Oversight of AP, AR and payroll
- Support in the management and development of the Finance team
- Annual audit
- Review and optimise finance systems
- Ad-hoc projects
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have the following skills or experiences:
- Recently qualified accountant
- Relevant experience in a broad role in a Finance team
- Highly analytical
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Strong IT skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong communicator
- Self-motivating and able to work on own initiative
