Our client an international Retailer with a number of stores throughout Ireland are currently looking to recruit a Financial Accountant to initially join them on a six month contract. If you have a performance-driven mindset, with excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills then this is the role for you! 

About Your New job

• Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage the month-end and year-end close processes.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Provide financial analysis and reporting to support business decisions.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve financial processes and reporting.
• Assist with external audits and liaise with auditors as needed.
• Support ad-hoc financial projects and analysis.

What You Need:

• Fully Qualified Accountant, ideally with demonstrable experience of accounts preparation, analysis, and reconciliation. 
• Strong Excel skills and are comfortable working with Sage 50, or equivalent.
• A performance-driven mindset, with excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
