Our client is a well-established and growing organisation operating within the Food & Beverage industry in Ireland.  They are seeking a motivated and organised finance professional with strong communication and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, commercially aware, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Strong time management skills and an awareness of cultural diversity are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reports
• Partner with operational and commercial teams to analyse performance and cost variances
• Reconcile weekly and monthly margin reports, explaining variances
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions
• Produce weekly KPI reporting and financial analysis
• Ensure timely and accurate statutory and regulatory returns
• Maintain fixed asset registers and monitor capital expenditure against budget
• Support budgeting, forecasting, audits, and internal control improvements
• Contribute to margin improvement and cost optimisation initiatives
• Support ERP system improvements and group-wide finance projects
• Provide ad-hoc financial support as required

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant, with hands-on experience in an SME environment
• Strong experience in management accounting and financial reporting
• Proven ability to work with operational and commercial stakeholders
• Experience managing accounts payable and receivable processes
• High level of accuracy with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Well-organised, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Strong systems skills, with ERP experience an advantage
• Awareness of cultural diversity and ability to work in a dynamic environment
