Financial Accountant / Assistant Financial Accountant

An established and internationally recognised organisation is seeking to appoint a Financial Accountant to join its finance team.  This role would suit an ambitious finance professional looking to build their career within a unique and fast-paced international industry environment. The successful candidate will gain valuable exposure across a broad range of financial activities while working within a collaborative and high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly management accounts, including analysis and investigation of variances
• Completion of monthly reconciliations
• Assisting with annual budgeting and forecasting processes
• Preparation of statutory reporting requirements and liaison with external auditors
• Providing financial analysis and commercial support to the wider business
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across financial reporting processes and systems
• Assisting with ad hoc finance projects and other duties as required

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant
• Strong technical accounting knowledge
• Excellent IT skills with experience using financial accounting and reporting systems
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
• Motivated, adaptable, and eager to develop professionally
• Commercially aware with strong business acumen
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with senior management
