Financial Accountant

Our client, a large Logistics organisation currently experiencing rapid growth are currently looking to recruit a Financial Accountant initially on a zix month contract.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the role will involve: 

• Preparation of quarterly management accounts and annual statutory accounts for group of companies
• Liaising with group auditors and managing all aspects of annual audit process
• Preparation of projections and budgets for planning purposes
• Assisting CFO in preparing Board Reports
• Management of Job costing system and reconciliation to nominal ledger
• Preparation of service charge budgets and finalisation of actual annual service charges on a timely basis
• Preparation of tax computations for all group companies
• Management of annual tax return and company secretarial returns for all group companies.
• Ensure all returns are filed on a timely basis
• Liaising with tax advisors for tax planning purposes
• Manage the group’ IT accounting and office systems
• Ad hoc projects as requested by CFO
