Client Profile 

Our client is a really interesting Media business with their Irish operation based in the City Centre. To facilitate growth they are restructuring their Finance team and have a new requirement for a Qualified Accountant to join the team. The role is varied and will support the Head of Finance in all aspects of running a busy finance team. Once onboarded into the business, the role can be either office based or 50% remote working is offered. 

Role: Financial Accountant 

The Financial Accountant will be responsible for providing a wide range of financial information. Specific areas of responsibility include:

• Month-end reporting
• Preparation and review of monthly management accounts 
• Analysis and provision of key information to management
• Monthly, Quarterly and Annual reporting
• Balance sheet review
• Day-to-day involvement with the running of the Finance team
• Year-end audit and preparation of financial statements
• Tax compliance and returns 
• Issue sales invoices and maintain debtors ledger
• Delivering improvements on both existing and new processes and systems

Candidate Profile:

• Qualified Accountant with relevant experience
• Experience of using a finance system
• Excellent analytical skills
• Results orientated
• Excellent technical abilities
• Strong financial acumen and the ability to perform a hands-on role
• Excellent communication, customer care, and people management skills
• Excellent planning, organisational, and leadership skills
