The Role – Financial Accountant

Our client, a globally recognised PLC, are seeking to recruit in their growing Finance team following a restructure. The position offers fast track progression within the business and is a broad role within the Financial Accounting team. This team is responsible for the following activities:

• Monthly management account preparation including consolidation 
• Financial reporting to board 
• Invovlement in annual and half year results and financial statements 
• Statutory accounting
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Budgeting, forecasting and cashflow 
• Variance Analysis
• KPI reporting 
• Year end audit
• SOX compliance 
• Review policies and procedures for best practice 
• Ad hoc duties

  Candidate Profile:

• Qualified Accountant
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and ability to multi-task within tight deadlines
• Ability to work independently and use own initiative, as well as integrating with a team and adding value
