Financial Accountant – Technology

The Company

Our client is a growing organisation with further plans to scale the business in 2023. They are a rapidly expanding SME within the technology space, and have a new requirement for a Qualified Accountant to join the team with a defined path to Finance Manager. Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role is hands on and will take the lead on a lot of the day to day in finance. The HQ is based in West Dublin and they can offer a working model of 1 day per week in the office and 4 days remote. 

The Position

Reporting to the Head of Finance, this is a high profile role with a lot of interaction with the Senior Leadership team. The Irish office is small and therefore the role is hands on and all-encompassing. Some of the duties include:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts 
• Commercial analysis and reporting on KPIs
• Drive process improvement and efficiency
• Accounts Payable 
• Accounts Receivable 
• Monitoring costs and variance analysis
• Monthly reconciliations across the Group
• Monitoring financial performance
• Managing bank accounts and cashflow forecasting
• Assist with audit process
• Tax and statutory reporting
• Managing financial system including involvement in ERP Upgrade 

The Person:

• Qualified accountant with 1-2 years' PQE in industry 
• Ability to work in hands on function
• Excellent analytical skills, with strong IT skills essential
• Deadline orientated, with the ability to work to multiple tight deadlines
• Strong communicator
• Excellent attention to detail
