Our client a very well regarded charity organisation based in Dublin City are seeking to recruit at Financial Controller on a 12 month contract.
Reporting to the CEO and the Board this role will involve:
Responsibilities
Management Accounts
- Preparation of monthly management accounts to deadlines to include
- Monthly Managment accounts
- Balance Sheet analysis
- Capital Expenditure projects
- variance analysis
- cashflow reporting
Statutory Annual Financial Statements and Annual Audit
- Preparation of the statutory financial statements for the organisation and the consolidated financial statements for the organisation
Budgeting and Strategic Planning
- Supervision of accounts staff
- Ensure that expenditure is measured against budget targets and rolling forecasts.
- Preparation of the overall annual budget and monthly review of performance.
- Monthly forecasts
- Work with the Board with strategic planning
Payroll / Pension Schemes
- Oversee the processing of payroll
- Ensure returns to Revenue e.g. P30, P35 and P45s are made on time through the Revenue’s ROS system.
- Act as administrator of the pension schemes and liaise with the pension trustees / provider.
Statutory Compliance
- Oversee Payroll returns
- Oversee VAT Returns
- Responsibility for all Companies Registration Office and Charities Regulatory Authority statutory filing obligations.
Internal Controls
- Strengthening Corporate Governance through internal controls
- Reviewing internal controls
- Updating of procedures
The position will be Hybrid but on site for a training period.
The role is a 12 month contract
