Financial Controller, Not for Profit, Dublin
The Company
Our client are a small team based in West Dublin who are currently seeking to appoint an experienced Financial Controller to lead the team.
The Position:
Reporting to the Head of Finance this is a hands on role encompassing all areas of finance ensuring financial objectives are met. Duties will include:
- Monthly management accounts preparation with analysis
- Preparation of annual statutory accounts
- Supervise and develop finance team
- Financial and commercial analysis analysis
- Tax and statutory returns
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Managing the audit process
- Monitor and Develop Financial Controls
- Review and improve finance policies, procedures and controls including IT system optimisation
- Project and ad-hoc work
The Person:
- Qualified accountant with 5 years PQE
- Similar experience in the not for profit sector desirable
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills/ability to prioritize work
- Good interpersonal skills
- Process orientated
- Ability to work in team environment
- Can do attitude
